Deepak Kumar is a Managing Partner at Envol Capital, VP of Finance & Operations at The Primary School, and former CFO of the Colorado Education Association. He has held leadership roles at US Bank, Wells Fargo, Full Sail University, Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design, and Christie Lites, and has consulted for numerous small businesses in Central Florida. Deepak has managed domestic and international M&A transactions ranging from $5M to $50M.

From 2017 to 2021, Deepak served as Director of Business Operations at Full Sail University, overseeing corporate treasury management, AP, AR, and fixed assets. He was also CFO & Senior Director of Accounting for the Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design, a Full Sail affiliate in Colorado.

With 15 years of experience in the education sector and a decade in executive management, Deepak specializes in business operations, corporate treasury, federal compliance, and grants administration for both public and private institutions. While CFO of the Colorado Education Association, he played a key role in supporting public school teachers through collective bargaining agreements.

Before his corporate career, Deepak co-founded Adopets, a VC-backed pet adoption platform, and served as CEO of Pacific Partners RTG, managing the sale of its cannabis cultivation and dispensary holdings in 2021.

Deepak holds a Bachelor’s in Public Policy from Boise State University and an MBA in Finance from Rollins College. He also attended the University of Oregon School of Law and speaks English, Hindi, Punjabi, and conversational Portuguese.

Romain Ly is a Managing Partner of Envol Capital. Prior to co-founding Envol Capital, Romain worked in Corporate Development and M&A consulting originating and evaluating acquisition targets ranging between $2M to $50M in enterprise value across all industries. Romain was also involved in successful investment analysis at a long/short equity boutique Hedge Fund with over $30M under management. 
Romain's first business transaction performed as a sole investor was to invest in a Best Western International hotel. Starting with a personal loan from his father, Romain invested in the hotel and spent the following year working every single job from Housekeeping to General Manager to Director of Finance (for free) in order to see first-hand what the issues were and to determine how to fix them.  In addition to improving the hotel's operations and instrumenting a $5M cash exit earning 35% ROI, Romain was also involved in a select number of Hospitality acquisition projects throughout the US. Shortly after, Romain invested and operated in a few businesses - restaurant, consulting, and textile - where he continues to advise as needed. 

Romain holds a BS. in Business Management, MBA in Finance, and a MS. in Finance and Economics. Romain speaks French, English, and Hmong. 

Anthony Ngo is a Managing Partner at Envol Capital and the founding attorney of Unified Legal Group, P.A.  His practice focuses on business, real estate, and insurance law.  Anthony has worked extensively in matters involving contractual disputes and possesses litigation experience in various areas of civil law.  His excellent negotiation and settlement skills have garnered spectacular results for his clients which includes an aggregate total of over $2.5M in negotiated settlements within the span of a year.
Prior to entering the private sector, he served as a pro bono attorney for a non-profit organization and assisted many indigent clients throughout Central Florida.  Thereafter, he was an associate attorney at a general civil law firm where he gained exposure in different legal fields  including contracts, first-party property, personal injury, and mortgage foreclosure.  He then served as General Counsel and oversaw the legal department for a multi-million dollar company until his eventual departure and establishment of Unified Legal Group, P.A.

Anthony is an alumnus of the Florida State University where he graduated with a B.S. in Psychology in 2007, and he received his J.D. from the Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in 2010.  He is currently admitted to practice law in the states of Florida and Illinois.

Sakshi Sharma is a Senior Partner at Envol Capital and FP&A Manager with CentralSquare Technologies (“CST”). In her current position with CST, Sakshi works with senior management on medium and long-term financial and strategic planning. Prior to joining Envol Capital, Sakshi was an Assurance Manager with Ernst and Young (“EY”), from October 2010 to December 2018. She was part of the client-facing team which conducts on-site audits for publicly traded companies across Europe and Canada. She also served as a Senior Auditor with the EY Global Services team and was responsible for maintaining productive relationships with key stakeholders in Canada. Sakshi has experience working on COE projects, ASC 606IFRS 15 and ASC 842/IFRS16, monitoring team utilization, budget to actuals, team workflow management, allocating operational resources, and long-term data analytics/climate sustainability projects. Sakshi is an expert in fraud investigation, general financial audits, PSPs of cash and bank, petty cash, stock fixed assets, AR, AP, and climate sustainability audits.

Sakshi Sharma holds an active ACCA license since 2016 and is recognized in 178 countries. Sakshi is also an alumnus of the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, having graduated with an MBA (Finance) in 2015 and holds a Bachelor in Commerce from MCMDAV College for Women.

Gary Banks brings over 25 years of IT and Industrial Engineering experience. He previously served as a Board of Directors of Document - later sold to Dell EMC. He is the former Senior Vice President of Decisyon, a computer software company focused on analytics and collaboration applications. Prior to joining Decisyon, Gary was a Partner at Heartland Industrial Partners a $1.2B Private Equity fund investing and restructuring distressed manufacturing companies. In addition, he served as an Executive in Residence providing IT and Business Operation strategies to portfolio companies at Patriarch Partners, a $6B Private Equity fund. Gary holds an MS. in Operation Research from Columbia University, a MA. in Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA. in Mathematics from Tulane University. 

Dr. Hugo A. Villegas spent over 11 years in the financial service industry starting in international Investment Banking to become the CEO of the Bolivian Stock Exchange. Prior to his financial experience, Hugo served as the President of Homestead Uniforms. an industrial laundry and linen rental company that sold for 3.5x its revenue.  Dr. Villegas was the Co-founder and Managing Director of Nu-Sigma, a software and consulting firm leveraging statistical analysis to assist clients in decision making and strategic implementation. Upon leaving the financial industry, Dr. Villegas spent 10 years in Education Management where he taught and designed business curriculums for various universities. He is the former lead professor at Colorado Technical University and Doctoral Assessment Committee member. He holds a BS. in Business Administration, an MS. in Economics, a PhD. in Financial Management, and an Executive Certification in Strategy and Innovation from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
